If you missed our updates from last week, you have come to the right place. Sometimes, it gets hard to keep up with all the updates. It is why we provide you with a dedicated and reliable recap of everything happening in the Doge Pound world.
Last week was unfortunate for many dogs in the Kilimanjaro Region surrounding our dog shelter. It is why we built Doge Pound Shelter and will continue to support it. Our prayers are with the stray dogs living there. More on that towards the end of this roundup.
We are excited to continue rolling out products and IP updates this year to reflect our vision of becoming the go-to dog brand in the web3 space. There is a lot to be done, and we are focused on building for years to come.
Now let’s dive into the updates from last week as we enter the second quarter of 2023.
Twitter Meme Tool
We are developing an extension for Twitter that allows you to post Doge memes with a click of a button. It’s similar to our meme bot on Discord, providing a variety of memes directly on your Twitter profile.
The tool is currently under development and will be available to everyone soon. Here is a glimpse at how you’ll be GMing at lightning speed.
Buildspace
Buildspace is a tuition-free school for people who want to learn how to start a business doing what they love. Their first activation is a six weeks program called nights & weekends, starting 7th April.
Get together with builders globally for a 6-week sprint to build your idea. Meet fellow builders, and build out your wildest ideas for six weeks in web3, ML/AI, gaming, bio, or anything. In the end, you will get a chance to meet the team in SF and a potential $25k funding if your project gets selected.

3D Doge Updates
As you know, AMGI Studios is working with us to convert the entire OG Doge collection into 3D. The process has taken longer than expected, but the quality of the work will be far superior to what we anticipated.
Our mascot Doge is accessible via the Immi app, and we are delighted to see the hilarious content you share regularly.
We are constantly experimenting and innovating to build our 3D characters. Recently, we have been testing AI integrations to make the characters feel authentic. We are also working on gamifying the 3D Doge rollout so the active members can get their 3D Doges first. More on that in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
The shooting of Stray Dogs in Kilimanjaro
There is a lack of awareness in the Kilimanjaro region where Doge Pound Shelter is situated. The government authorities see stray dogs as a threat to society by claiming they spread rabies and kill livestock.
Last week, government officials were out shooting dogs. An image of a dog being shot was sent to our team by a local vet. They couldn’t save it.

They are innocent beings who are mercilessly killed by the local authorities. As there will be shooting again this week, a team from our shelter will be on the lookout to save some dogs.
The dogs may have been saved if they had lived inside the shelter, which is why expanding the shelter and rescuing more dogs is so important.
In the past, our shelter partner from Kilimanjaro Animal Rescue has successfully saved dogs during such shootings, and they have been able to lead a healthy life thereon. Check out the rescue video and something beautiful that happened afterward in these YouTube videos.

Final Thoughts
As we continue building our IP, we want to focus on expanding our audience to a diverse community of dog lovers. We will further innovate and create unique products (AI tools, toys, animations etc.) as we build our brand with our partners. We also want to continue our efforts in expanding our shelter, helping as many dogs as possible.
