It’s been a fun week at The Doge Pound, and here is another roundup full of news and updates. Our community is growing, and we are excited to see everyone having a great time, be it the recent live play sessions with the Zoran Resistance team, the Sketch n Chill sessions, or our Doge Pound City GTA server.

Live Play Session with Zorans Resistance
Zorans Resistance is a small indie team building a fast & fun, free-to-play action game. They requested a few communities like ours to host live play sessions with their developers to get feedback on the game.
Last week, our community members participated in the event, and some also won exciting prizes. We enjoy collaborating with other projects and strengthening our gaming community. Stay tuned for more competitions in the future.
Doge Pound Sketch n Chill
We’ve been conducting a fun weekly community event in Discord with one of our lead artists, Pumpkin, who creates real-time artwork during the two hours workshop.
Last week again, she drew some incredible artwork live based on requests from the community. Here’s some of the art from the latest workshop.
It is a weekly session held every Wednesday at 1 PM ET, so make sure you drop by for the next one. Watching Pumpkin take live requests and draw something from scratch is exciting. Attend our next workshop to learn more.
Doge Trades for Omega & Alpha Group
A few months ago, we acquired about 450+ OG Doges from one of our biggest holders in an OTC deal. We had planned to utilize them for the following:
- Giveaways.
- Brand deals to incentivize using our IP.
- Investment deals if it helps us broker a good deal with our partners wanting a little skin in the game.
- Selling some of the rares to loyal holders.
During our 2nd anniversary celebrations and several other occasions, we have given away many OG Doges and Puppies NFTs to our community members.
To continue incentivizing our loyal holders, we have set up a process to allow Omega & Alpha holders to swap their Doges with another one of their choice from our team wallet.
We will accept the requests on a first-come, first-served basis, and the exact rules are available in our private “omega-alpha-chat” channel in Discord. Please read the latest pinned message for more details.
All holders with five or more OG Doges qualify to be in the Omega-Alpha group.
Doge Pound Shelter — Puppies Rescued
Working for animal welfare, especially dogs, is one of our missions, and we are proactively working on it. The construction and operation of the Doge Pound Shelter in Tanzania have been our most rewarding accomplishments.
In the last couple of weeks, we have rescued several puppies. We picked them up from a home that was like a mini dog shelter. The residents kept increasing the number of stray dogs in their homes out of kindness until they could no longer support them and contacted us for assistance.
We could only take the puppies with us and had to leave the rest of the dogs behind. They were skinnier and had less chance of making it through the hustle. Our shelter has been running out of space, and now we can only take in those that need us the most.
