Weekly roundup and everything happening in Doge Pound world for the week ending 30th April
Goodbye, April, and Welcome, May. We are excited about our upcoming event this month at Playa Vista called Best Pet Workplaces, an all-day event focused on how pets help attract, engage, and retain a better workforce.
Last week, we were at the Consensus 2023 in Austin, where we donated all our ticket sales to the Austin Humane Society to help out some local dogs. We also released our GM Chrome extension allowing everyone to create memes with a click of a button directly on Twitter. All this and more as we round up the week. Let’s go.
Doge Pound at Consensus 2023
Last week, we were at Consensus in Austin, TX, where we hosted a “Yappy Hour” event featuring some local pet vendors with special doggo swag and treats for our furry friends. The event was at a dog-friendly patio where many people attended with their pets in one big social meet-up with fireside chats, product demos, NFT Gallery + Live Djs, and more.
We made a lot of great connections, and the event was fun. The place was packed, and we got a lot of great content from it. Stay tuned for more this week.
All the event ticket holders will get a limited edition Doge Pound Austin, TX-themed NFT.
We collaborated with many partners, including Austin Humane Society, a non-profit pet and adoption center in Austin. Over 950 people signed up for our event, and we plan to donate all the ticket sales to them to help out some local dogs.
Working for animal welfare, especially dogs, is one of our missions, and we are proactively working on it by running and expanding the Doge Pound Shelter in Tanzania.

Our next event is coming up on May 18th at Playa Vista, CA, called Best Pet Workplaces. It’s an all-day event focused on how pets help attract, engage, and retain a better workforce.
Many C-level executives from large MNCs are joining us, including the CEO of Petco, SVP of Walmart, President of Nationwide, CMO of Titos, and more. We have some activations we are doing here as well.
All the speakers, including the CEO of Petco, SVP of Walmart, etc., are getting a Doge Pound artwork of their dog, and we’re giving away some Doge Pound themed NFT based on the companies attending.
We are also putting together pitch decks for this event to hopefully land a few partnership deals with some of the participating brands.
Doge Pound GM Chrome Extension
We recently launched our new GM Chrome Extension to transform how you create memes and post them on Twitter.
Earlier, we had the meme bot on Discord where you could create custom memes for your respective Doges. Now, you can create Doge Pound custom memes directly on Twitter using our Chrome extension and quickly GM & GN any user with your Doge.
We will keep the Discord bot as it is for non-Twitter users but want to make it as easy as possible for you to post memes.
We have bigger plans for this tool and want to make it stupidly easy for anyone to show off their Doges and interact with each other. More updates to come soon. Stay tuned.

Final Thoughts
As we continue building our IP, we want to focus on expanding our audience to a diverse community of dog lovers. As we build our brand with our partners, we will further innovate and create unique products (AI tools, apps, toys, animations, etc.). We also want to continue our efforts in expanding our shelter, helping as many dogs as possible.
